At a city council meeting in 2003, a pastor from Antioch Community Church asked what could be done to best serve the community. The Mayor responded that assistance in the area of addiction recovery is a great need in Waco. As a result, in 2004 Mercy House, Antioch’s recovery home for men, was opened. In 2009, Grace House opened its doors and began seeing women healed from addiction.
Grace House is able to offer a family style approach, free of charge, for up to six women at a time. Our desire is to see women holistically healed from a life of addiction, and restored through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” – John 10:10
