Three of our women moved out of Phase I and into Phase II this week! It came complete with a celebration ceremony with worship and prayer, new bibles, lots of words of encouragement and not just a few tears!
These three brave women will now begin the longest and most difficult phase of our program — the heart healing phase. They will be given space to pace themselves (with the Spirit of God) so they have room and time to thoroughly walk through the challenges of their past. They will begin to address the issues of trauma and abuse that led to their addiction, and receive healing in those areas. As they journey through their past, it brings up many emotions that they do not want to feel, however deeper intimacy with God is established during this process.
Phase II is also designed to help the women learn how to be a part of a home, how to be a family member, how to take on simple responsibilities, how to be thorough in house chores, how to deal with the people around her, how to deal with mistakes and correction, how to function in a routine, and how to receive discipline as a loving consequence.
Phase II is a BIG deal!! Please keep them in mind as you pray, because they will need a lot of prayer and encouragement as they begin this part of their recovery journey.
And…the House is now full!
We are so thankful that Jesus has led these women to Grace House, and we look forward to watching His love and truth bring transformation to their lives!
(We would be so encouraged if you would leave a reply on this page and let us know that you are praying for the women of Grace House! It will help “see” the Body of Christ with us in this ministry!)
