Excitement abounds as the women of Grace House plan their first mission trip! All 4 women, plus 2 staff members, will be going to Baton Rouge March 13th-16th. They will serve our Antioch church plant, and the people of Baton Rouge, through drama, serving meals, leading interactive games and taking the gospel to the streets! One of the ways the ladies have been raising support for the trip is by making and selling sugar scrubs. The scrubs come in three different scents…Lavender, Lemongrass and Peppermint. They sell for $6.00 each.
Our Family is Growing!
After much anticipation and prayer, our newest staff member is finally on board! We are so blessed to have Cathleen Mosely as a coach in the house. She is an amazing woman of God who loves the women well. Cathleen brings energy and fun – as well as a lot of wisdom and compassion – into Grace House. She served Grace House as a live-in night monitor from October 2012-May 2013, then served as an intern from May-September of 2013. Her experience serving in the house helped her become familiar with the program and the women. This is an added blessing and makes the transition into her position much easier. Cathleen is at 80% of her support goal, which allows her to begin working in the house. However, her support raising efforts continue. Welcome aboard Cathleen!
